The Path to Transition:
Through our experience transitioning clients to our firm from our previous acquisitions, we have found the following steps will ensure a smooth transition for you and your clients.
STEP 1: CLIENT COMMUNICATION
You know your clients best. So, we will work closely with you to develop and implement a client communication plan. Typically, a letter will be sent to all clients notifying them of the transition and briefly introducing our firm. Then, we will schedule introductory meetings with your top clients as soon as possible. The key to this step is showing the trust you’ve placed in us to take care of them. If your clients see the confidence you have in us, they will likely be receptive to the change.
STEP 2: CLIENT INTEGRATION
During a second meeting with clients we obtain a more thorough understanding of each client’s financial goals and current portfolio. We will also take more time to introduce our team and the services we will be able to provide: Such as, retirement income planning and management, estate planning, college funding planning and wealth management. We also offer a high level of communication to our clients through our frequent in-person reviews, weekly emails and market updates, and even some fun client appreciation events that provide some education.
STEP 3: CLIENT RETENTION
Once your clients have been welcomed into our practice and have grown to trust us, we know we have done it right. Your clients’ best interests and financial goals will always at the forefront of our decisions. We intend to make our relationships with our clients a lifelong venture.
