Since graduating from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and minors in Accounting & Economics, Mitch has at various times served as the Vice President of Advanced Education for the San Fernando Valley Chapter of the International Association for Financial Planning; Adjunct Professor for the American College; Adjunct Professor for Brigham Young University; “I want to make sure I’m always up to date with the latest strategies that help my clients work towards financial independence.” Mitch also holds designations as a Certified Financial Planner® and Chartered Financial Consultant®
“Caring for and participating in one’s community is an important part of what we all should be doing,” says Mitch. As such, he has served as Chairman of the Legacy and Planned Giving Committee for the San Fernando Valley chapter of the American Cancer Society. He has also served in numerous civic and religious organizations including early morning youth seminary teacher for the LDS church and soccer coach.
Mitch Hesen is a dedicated family man. He has been married to his wife, Jennifer, for over 30 years and they have five children. He enjoys spending his spare time with them- whether it is as a coach, spectator, cheerleader, math tutor, referee, wrestle partner, horsey, audience, chauffer or accomplice. He looks forward to traveling and golf… someday.
